Freediving gear: long fins with replaceable blades and foot pockets, low-volume masks and snorkels, wetsuits by thickness and water temperature, neck weights and weight belts, knives, floats and dive computers with a freedive mode. Main brands are C4 Carbon, Mares, Garmin, Rob Allen and Salvimar; fins, wetsuits and other gear can also be rented.
How to choose: fin blades come in plastic, fiberglass and carbon and in several stiffness levels, so choose by your strength, depth and budget. A low-volume mask is easier to equalise at depth. Wetsuits are grouped by thickness for 22 to 35 °C, 13 to 28 °C, 3 to 20 °C and 0 to 16 °C water.
